Who We Are

These days I’m a casual gamer who likes to play whenever I have time. I still really enjoy gaming and think it’s a great activity for people of all ages. There’s a large gaming community of older gamers. I hope the industry will recognise this and will encourage both new and older gamers. I’d like to particularly reach out to people who may not have experienced the enjoyment of a great game or anime and encourage them to get involved. It is a undoubtedly a great pastime for people of all ages.

I don’t believe that there’s an age limit for people to enjoy gaming. We’ve been led to believe that gaming is something specifically for youngsters and there is time when we need to put away ‘childish things’. However, there are many benefits to gaming. I think gaming is a great pastime for older generations to take up and is as suitable for them as it is for younger generations.

This is particularly true after the few years that we’ve all suffered recently; Covid and the economic meltdown have resulted in all of us being more isolated than we were in the past. There’s never been a better time to get involved with gaming, explore the world of anime and manga, or take an interest in other pastimes that we can enjoy at home. I think we are a product of who we are, who we mix with and what we do. The more time we spend doing enjoyable things, the better it is for us and everyone else. Gaming can definitely play a part in that.

The beauty of it is that there’s no level that is compulsory to attain. There’s something out there for everyone. There’s a huge world out there, a host of games that can be enjoyed with friends and family. There are gaming communities that can be shared with total strangers. It’is something that can be done alone, or shared with others, while making many great friends in the process. I hope that you will find something that will be of interest here. Or just have fun looking back at some of the highlights in gaming and anime history.
