A List of of the top video games of all time as selected by developers, streamers, journalists, and directors as part of a poll run by GQ.

I’m amazed how low Mario Kart is on the list, not surprised that there is no Football Manager in this list and find it interesting how many of these games are relatively old. There are a lot of sequels in here, not surprisingly. Apart from Football Manager and Mortal Kombat, I’m happy to see the remainder of my top 10 games in here. I’m sure everyone has titles that they think ought to be on this list. For me, the lack of a Suikoden title is criminal. I’m not a particular fan of driving games, for example, Mario Kart excepted, but surprised to see so few in the list. Sports, in general, are really not very well represented here. Apart from that, I think it is a pretty decent list, with a lifetime’s worth of great gaming here.

There are a few on here that I own but haven’t played, so they have just jumped up my waiting list! I have quite a few of the games on this list and have played, or tried, the majority of the others. The few on here that I haven’t played before, I will be checking them out sometime in the near future as well. For anyone who is getting into games, or getting back into games, lists like these are really worth checking out.
