Who We Are

I decided to start this site in order to share some of my favourite art forms, gaming, anime, manga, arts and crafts. While my main motivation is to encourage both new and older gamers to enjoy the wealth of content out there, my particular interest is to reach out to people, who may not have experienced the joy which comes from a great game or anime.

I do not believe that there is an age that limits people from enjoying gaming. We may have all been shaped into believing that gaming is something for youngsters and there is time when we need to put away ‘childish things’. But there are many benefits to gaming. Beyond the obvious enjoyment that can be gained, we think that this applies to the older generations, as much as the young, and as such, this generation is missing out on the many advantages that can be found in the gaming world.

This is particularly true after the horrendous few years that we have all suffered; Covid and the  economic meltdown have resulted in all of us being slightly more isolated than we were in previous years. There has never been a better time to get involved in some form of gaming, explore the world of anime and manga, or taking an interest in arts, crafts and other pastimes that we can enjoy in the home. I decided to create this site as a way of sharing our favourite entertainment activities. By looking back at the things that we have enjoyed most, we will hopefully encourage others to embark on this journey at whatever level is suitable for them.

The beauty of it is, that there is no level that it is compulsory to try to attain. There is something out there for everyone! There’s a huge world out there, and a wealth of choices that can be enjoyed with friends, family and even communities that can be shared with total strangers. It is something that can be done alone, as well as something that you can share with others, while make many wonderful friends in the process. I certainly have! I hope that you will find something that will be of use here.
